Devin Booker’s player-exclusive run keeps getting deeper. The Phoenix Suns guard has just previewed a fresh Nike Book 2 PE dressed in unmistakable Texas Longhorns energy – and like many of Book’s best customs, this one looks destined to stay firmly out of reach.

Shared via Booker’s Instagram Story, the Book 2 ‘Texas Longhorns’ pays tribute to the University of Texas, a powerhouse program that’s produced hoop names like PJ Tucker, Myles Turner and Kevin Durant. While Booker himself didn’t suit up in Austin, the nod continues his habit of pulling from basketball history and Nike archive culture when building out his signature line.

Visually, the pair closely mirrors the retail Book 2 ‘Spiridon’ makeup, which itself channels the design language of Christian Tresser’s late-90s runner. The key twist here is colour execution: signature Longhorns orange floods the Swoosh branding, replacing the red accents seen on the inline version and giving the low-profile silhouette a collegiate punch.

Under the hood, the Book 2 remains Booker’s refined evolution of his debut model – a court-focused low-top built to keep him closer to the hardwood while blending vintage Nike cues with modern performance tooling.

Unfortunately for collectors, this one falls into true PE territory. The ‘Texas Longhorns’ edition is not expected to receive a public release, making it another elusive chapter in Booker’s rapidly expanding signature archive.
