UNC College Players Suspended For Reselling Jordans
Resellers really aren’t having a good run at the moment. Sure, the good ones are richer than ever before from the Off-White gold-rush, but the less savvy ones are getting whooped. Solebox forced prospective sellers to wear their new shoes out of the store, Kith straight-up owned those who didn’t abide by their terms and conditions, and now college players are getting red-carded for selling PEs.
That latest instance involves 13 UNC college football players who were caught selling ‘special-edition Nike Jordan shoes’, which, absurdly, is an NCAA violation. Suspensions ranged from 1-4 games, though it’s not clear what makes some PE resellers worse than others. (Maybe some didn’t rip people off enough?) Regardless, we hope they do as coach Larry Fedora says and ‘aim to do better in the future.’
