Back in 2002, with his sights set on oodles of free sneakers, Woody produced the first copy of Sneaker Freaker magazine after a manic two-week thrash. Two decades later, he’s still dreaming about footwear and overseeing the business as Editor-in-Chief. Woody’s discerning eye for product has delivered revered collaboration projects with adidas, AIAIAI, ASICS, Bearbrick, Diadora, Lacoste, Le Coq Sportif, New Balance, PUMA and Saucony. Aside from editing the magazine, Woody’s forte is epic 700-page tomes that dive deep into his favourite subject. SOLED OUT features over 900 vintage ads from the golden era of sneaker design, while The Ultimate Sneaker Book, released in 2018, is now the highest-selling footwear book of all time.
