The world of 3D-Printed footwear is currently booming, and adidas are continuing to push the boundaries with their Climacool series and their fresh Project RAP (Radical Athlete Perception) initiative. Late in march, Team Trefoil quietly debuted a 3D-Printed basketball shoe and now they’re doubling down with a football boot!

adidas’s Project RAP (Radical Athlete Perception) program was announced last month, and looks to bolster innovation in sport by creating bespoke products for different athletes and disciplines. The latest is this 3D-printed football boot, that is set to provide a bespoke fit and tailored support. Helping to create the boot were the adidas innovation team, alongside Paris-Saint Germain’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Athlético Madrid’s Ademola Lookman.

So far, the adidas Project RAP football boot is just an innovation concept and will not be available to the public yet. More announcements should be made on Project RAP over the coming few months.
