Jordan Brand Load Up on Legacy with Four New NIL Signings
Jordan Brand have just dropped a major play to open the NCAA season, announcing four new NIL () signings that lean heavily into legacy, talent and the future of the game. The group includes Syracuse freshman Kiyan Anthony, Duke freshmen Cameron and Cayden Boozer, and UConn sophomore Sarah Strong.
Anthony’s signing extends a family connection to the brand, with his father, Carmelo Anthony, having been a signature Jordan athlete in the NBA. Kiyan is expected to play a prominent role for Syracuse this season.
'To be part of the Jordan Brand family, to me, means carrying on a legacy,' Anthony said. 'I want my legacy to be more than just basketball. I want it to be on and off the court, giving back to the community, doing everything I can to uphold my last name and carry the torch.'
The Boozer twins aren’t far behind on the 'basketball royalty' meter. Cameron and Cayden have been unavoidable on rankings lists since their college days, and their Duke arrival feels like the most on-brand development possible. Their dad, Carlos, spent his NBA run in Swoosh territory, so the family sticking with the umbrella isn’t exactly a plot twist – but it definitely adds some symmetry to the announcement.
UConn’s Sarah Strong rounds out the group as the top-ranked player in her class and one of the early standouts of the NCAA season. Backed by a generational hoops pedigree through her mother’s W career, the protege has stepped into the season with authority, powering the Huskies through a string of heavy wins while establishing herself as one of the country’s most complete players.
