Labaron Philon Jr Is the Next Piece of PUMA’s Hoops Puzzle
PUMA Basketball has officially welcomed the number 22 overall pick of the 2026 NBA draft, Labaron Dewayne Philon Jr, to their eclectic roster of young talent. LaMelo Ball, Tyrese Haliburton and Breanna Stewart are just a few players already blessed with their own signature PUMA models.
Following the guard’s selection by the Philadelphia 76ers from Alabama Crimson Tide, Labaron was spotted lacing up an unreleased green and yellow model via his personal Instagram – and not long after, PUMA’s VP of Basketball Archie McEachern officially welcomed the young athlete to the Big Cat. ‘Labaron represents exactly what PUMA Hoops stands for – authenticity, hard work, and the drive to push the game forward,’ he said in a statement. ‘We’re excited to welcome him to the family at such an important moment in his journey and support him as he steps onto the biggest stage.’
‘Joining the PUMA family means a lot to me,’ 20-year-old Labaron said. ‘I’ve always stayed true to my grind and who I am, and PUMA saw that from the start. I’m excited to keep building and show what I can do at the next level.’
