A’ja Wilson (already a three-time league MVP, two-time champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist) will be the 13th woman ever to receive a signature performance sneaker once the upcoming A’One releases in May. Now, Nike have announced that a bold 'Blue Fury' edition will follow the debut 'Pink A'ura' colourway, with ‘White/Silver’ and ‘Black/Hyper Pink’ versions also expected to come.
The contrasting edition dons a gradient-coloured upper that moves from navy and into softer tones, as well as a metallic Swoosh and chrome-like accents that bring a luxe feel to the design. Defined by a number of personal touches, Wilson’s signature graces the toecap and heel tab, while embroidered tattoos inside the tongue pay tribute to LA Ace's parents. Underfoot, the A’One is built for all-around performance. Full-length Cushlon ST2 foam provides soft, responsive cushioning, paired with an injected Phylon midsole for added support. To finish off, a TPU frame helps deliver structure and lockdown through every movement.
