The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 Enters the Game
Anthony Edwards really came out swinging with his first signature shoe. Introduced in 2023, the model hit meteoric success straight out the gate and quickly turned into one of the biggest performance standouts around. That run was followed up by the AE 2, which kept things moving – even if the reaction felt slightly more measured the second time around – with a whole host of releases all pulling up and delivering.
Landing right as the Playoffs heat up, the adidas Anthony Edwards 3 has been unveiled for the first time. The third instalment in the line builds on what’s already made the series a standout in the performance space, leaning into its strengths while sharpening its overall direction on court.
The design shifts into a low-cut build, moving away from the mid-cut approach seen in earlier models. Sharp, forward-leaning lines run through the upper, reinforcing a constant sense of motion. Underfoot, the AE 3 is expected to feature Lightstrike Pro cushioning, an updated traction pattern, and a return of a wishbone-shaped propulsion plate aimed at adding snap and responsiveness to every step.
The debut look arrives in a hot ‘Lucid Pink’ colourway, finished with hits of ‘College Purple’ and ‘Bliss Lilac’. While it’s still unclear if this pair will lead the official launch, the palette fits neatly into the growing identity of Edwards’ signature line that transcends just being for on-court use
