adidas are lining up a lifestyle version of their latest performance runner: the Hyperboost Euphoria. Arriving as a follow up to the Edge which landed earlier this year, the model steps in with a range of staple colourways, reworked for casual wear.

From a design POV, the Euphoria maintains a familiar silhouette with a chunky, performance-inspired midsole, but the build is adjusted for durability and day-to-day use. The upper brings in extra reinforcement around the toe and tongue, while the side profile features a TPU lattice structure that nods to earlier Climacool designs. Underfoot, the midsole remains largely consistent with the Edge, though the outsole has been updated with a more rugged traction pattern.

‘When the Energy Boost first came to market, everybody who tried it was like, “Wow, this feels great. This is different,”‘ Patrick Nava, adidas’ general manager of running, said about the drop. ‘We wanted to replicate that first feeling with the advancement of technology.’

And that’s not all: adidas have tuned its latest cushioning system to go beyond its usual race-day setup. Compared to the Lightstrike Pro compound used in its elite speed models – including the record-setting Pro Evo 3 – Hyperboost is said to deliver around a 22 per cent increase in energy return, aiming for a more responsive feel every time it hits the ground.

Landing on July 23, the Hyperboost Euphoria drops in white, black, and a ‘Blue/Black’ mix – clean options that keep things easy to slot into everyday ’fits.
