Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance Just Went Performance Mode
Aimé Leon Dore’s partnership with New Balance continues to deepen every year. It started with simple premium collaborations, moved to Teddy Santis working in-house, and is now stretching into the Boston brand’s performance catalogue. They’ve already crafted football boots for Bukayo Saka, and MT10T water shoes. Earlier this year, it was also revealed that ALD will be bringing their touch to the hardwood-geared Fresh Foam BB v3 – but before that lands, they’re dropping a swanky running catalogue.
The shoes chosen for the latest linkup are the FuelCell Rebel v5 and FuelCell SC Elite v5. The former is a plated daily trainer, coming with a bold black and blue construction. Subtle neon-green hits are added, alongside ALD branding across the tongue and lateral. The latter silhouette is a premium race-day offering adorned in dark green and black. ALD logo hits are more subtle on this colourway, and only feature on the tongue and medial.
