The Pleasure's in the Process: Here's Anthony Edwards' AE 1 'Pink Ascent'

Anthony Edwards sure rates a kaleidoscopic swirl. The marbled, ripple-colour effect recalls adi's Yeezy Foam Runner 'MX' line, but Ant-Man has made it his own, having injected the idea into the Low version of his Three Stripes debut signature sneaker – the AE 1 – a couple of times now. While the AE 2 era has officially begun, there's still room for another prismatic splash on the OG AE – and the 'Pink Ascent' comes with a message.

The colourway embodies the wise idea that the real zest of life is in the journey – 'the ascent' – rather than the destination. It's all about self-belief and the reward of the process... and, of course, top-shelf tech encased in dope design.

What's under the hood? Well, the AE 1's TPU composition features a Generative Support Wing for stability and containment. It gives athletes the power of explosive, omnidirectional play, while still allowing breathability at the mid-foot. Full-length Jet Boost technology offers greater energy return and cushion thanks to its small, fused-together energy capsules. At the outsole, a grippy herringbone pattern gives A+ traction.
