One of the fastest franchises just got a whole lot quicker, because the SUPERBLAST has been upgraded!
The ASICS BLAST category is favoured among runners across the globe thanks to the famed bounce tech featured in the midsole. Now, the Japanese sportswear giants have debuted the third edition of the SUPERBLAST model, which now boasts FF LEAP – ASICS' lightest and most energetic foam to date. This new compound is more responsive when compared to the SUPERBLAST 2, and works in conjunction with a redesigned trampoline pod.
That’s not the only change to arrive with the ASICS SUPERBLAST 3. Punters can expect improvements to overall comfort thanks to freshly designed eyestays that promote midfoot support. Elsewhere, the upper comes in a patterned, engineered woven fabric that is not only lightweight and breathable but moves naturally with your foot. All of these shifts have meant that the SUPERBLAST 3 is now 10g lighter compared to its predecessor.

‘Knowing that the SUPERBLAST 3 builds on a model runners already trust, we wanted to ensure this update truly elevates the experience,’ said Paul Lang, ASICS’ senior manager of global product, performance running footwear. ‘As the most innovative shoe in the BLAST family, now powered by the same next-generation FF LEAP foam featured in our pinnacle METASPEED series, the SUPERBLAST 3 delivers a lighter, bouncier, and more energising ride. Combined with redesigned trampoline pods and a 10-gram weight reduction, every step helps athletes feel more responsive and powerful, while energising both body and mind.'
You can expect the ASICS SUPERBLAST 3 to hit shelves on March 4 in ‘White/Black’, ‘Cobalt Burst/Light Orange’, and ‘Seashell/Sun Coral’.
