Dover Street Market Put In the Miles With New Balance
Let’s time how fast it takes for these to sell out! As runners prepare to line up at Greenwich Park for the London Marathon (this Sunday April 26), Dover Street Market are providing some premier race-day kicks, delivering their own take on the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5.
Never keen to stray far from their aesthetic identity, DSM have kitted out the entire silhouette in a sleek black finish. A bit of 3M detailing appears on the ‘N’ logo, while Dover Street Market branding is sparse, only landing on the left tongue and the right insole. Marathon winners typically cross the finish line in vibrant neon-coloured trainers, but perhaps this year, these’ll serve as the dark horse.
Packed underfoot is a stack of FuelCell cushioning with enough height to match your cheat day pancake breakfast. The addition of a carbon fibre plate ensures stability as you knock seconds off your PR with every step. The performance running silhouette first debuted on the feet of British Olympic Gold medalist Alex Yee at last year’s race, so the 2026 course should be anything but unfamiliar.
DSM and New Balance have also put together a co-branded apparel collection consisting of a Race Day Ultra Light t-shirt and split shorts to pair with the fast-paced footwear. The DSM x New Balance FuelCell SC Elite V5 is available now both in-store and online via Dover Street Market London for a retail price of £250.
