END.'s 20th-Anni Party Evolves with On Cloudhorizon Colab
Back in 2005, Christiaan Ashworth and John Parker were simply two energetic retail greenhorns in their late 20s who'd just opened their first store – Ashworth & Parker LTD – in their hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne. Twenty years later? END. Clothing has become a bastion of British streetwear culture, and are celebrating two decades of goodness with a run of colabs. Next up, they're embracing On's Cloudhorizon.
Premium materials and performance tooling are the name of the game here – though the beautifully muted 'Ivory/Leaf' colourway is difficult not to admire straight off the bat. Various gradients of pale green hit the suede upper and the mudguard, with 'Ivory' landing on the Cloudhorizon's secure toggle lacing system and co-branded heel tab. On’s signature technologies are all in place, including CloudTec Phase and Helion superfoam for provide lightweight responsiveness and cushioning, all sitting on top of the robust Missiongrip outsole.
The refreshing model was launched with a performance walking project by 'land artists' Strl_, a duo whose work recontextualises the relationship between human, landscape, intervention, and the way our footprints reflect back onto the environment. Check out images from the piece, titled Weightless Traces and performed in the Yorkshire Dales, .
The END. x On Cloudhorizon is available now via and statement stores in Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, London and Milan.
