Hermanos Koumori Are Dropping Their Own Evo SL
In 2024, adidas debuted the Evo SL, and since then the performance speedster has slowly become a fan favourite for both runners and sneakerheads. This year the Evo SL shows no signs of slowing down, especially now that Mexico City brand Hermanos Koumori have been tapped for their own collaboration.
Hermanos Koumori is a brand based in running, creating apparel and accessories that go beyond the sport while building a community of like-minded athletes.
‘With the new Adizero Evo SL HK, we stayed true to our brand DNA by taking a holistic approach,’ say the Hermanos Koumori founders, Alex Leon and Alex Sandler. ‘We embraced a grey, earthy colour palette that naturally reflects two familiar environments for our community: the asphalt of city streets for road runners and the muted tones around Mexico City for those who venture beyond.’
Hermanos Koumori’s Evo SL is built the same as the many Adizero predecessors. Down below is a chunky layer of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam, providing comfort and supreme energy return, with rugged Continental rubber outsole. The upper however takes a new approach, crafted with a mix of synthetic materials and brand-new woven fabric.
The Hermanos Koumori x adidas Evo SL will arrive through both brands' usual channels on January 15.
