This year is all about recovery footwear, baby! Nike’s Mind franchise has been pumping ever since it was unveiled mid-2025, and has consistently released in numerous colourways over the past six months. With the success of these drops and last year’s Hyperboot, we knew it wouldn’t be long until they followed up with another recovery-geared innovation – enter the Hyperslide!
The Nike Hyperslide was created in partnership with Hyperice, the US-based tech company focused on crafting innovative recovery and movement-enhancing products for athletes. This fresh-faced slide was unveiled back in July, and comes equipped with an Air Zoom midsole – but the big deal is the heat and vibration tech, designed to reduce tension and boost relaxation for athlete recovery. The heart of the operation is a magnetic Hyperslide Pod housed in the strap, which offers three-tiered heating and vibration settings that can be controlled through the Hyperice app.
‘Athletes leave everything on the field, and the approach to recovery needs to meet them at the same level,’ says Tobie Hatfield, Nike’s senior director of athlete innovation. ‘With the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, we wanted to create a solution that kickstarts recovery the moment you power it up – helping athletes feel more relaxed, restored and ready to take their performance to the next level.’
You can expect the Hyperice x Nike Hyperslide to debut on September 29 in two colourways – choose from classic ‘Black’ or crisp ‘Orewood Brown’.
