Jakob Ingebrigtsen x Nike Launch Speedy 'Essentials' Running Capsule
Nike are releasing a commemorative performance collection in collaboration with , honouring the Norwegian middle-distance runner's impressive impact on the track. Comprised of five different models, the capsule embraces a muted colour palette with subtle tones and metallic gold accents, inspired by the prodigy's Olympic medals and Nordic heritage.
A certified Swoosh athlete, Ingebrigtsen has already made history at only 24. He shattered the record for the youngest athlete to run a sub-four-minute mile (at 16 years old), broke the 2000m world record in 2023 and became the first man to hit under 3:30 indoors in the 1500m.
The highlight of the offering is anchored by the Dragon Fly 2 Elite spikes and the road-ready Pegasus 41, reflecting Ingebrigtsen’s blend of competitive edge and everyday performance. On the tech side, the collaboration combines ReactX foam with Zoom Air units to deliver exceptional responsiveness and cushioning, engineered for both track speed and road comfort.
The collection also features other key silhouettes tied to the European star’s signature style, including the VaporFly 4, Zoom Fly 6 and Zoom Victory 2. Each kick is rounded out with thoughtful touches, featuring five Nordic stars and the competitor's 'Only For Me' mantra printed on the insoles.
