After a two-season pause, John Elliott is officially back – and he’s coming in hot. The Cali designer was last seen in 2024, and now he’s releasing a new HOKA colab that blends his signature minimalism with next-level innovation!

The partnership focuses on the Rocket X 3. Maintaining the same responsive, high-performance foam as its predecessor, the design updates the pace-pushing carbon fibre plate with new winglets and a sticky rubber outsole to inspire confidence in variable conditions. A single-layer engineered mesh upper enhances breathability, while a stitch-and-turn collar helps mitigate blisters. Meanwhile, the removal of the gusset allows for easier entry.

True to Elliott’s style, branding is understated. Inspired by Elliott’s Bay Area roots, the model takes on the region’s foggy coastline and concrete energy into a calm, muted palette that feels both urban and coastal. HOKA’s bird logo hits the upper, with subtle co-branding on the sockliner and outsole, letting the silhouette and materials do the talking.
