Jordan Brand Are Releasing an Indoor Football Boot for the World Cup

The World Cup is already primed to be a hotbed of heavy-hitter sneaker releases, and one brand we’re excited to see join the calendar is Jordan. Today, early looks have emerged at an indoor football boot dubbed the Jordan Tiempo Streetgato Phantom, and it pays homage to the Air Jordan 3.

While beginning as a basketball-focused imprint, Jordan Brand have surpassed their roots and can be clocked in numerous other sporting disciplines – it only makes sense that football is next up. Rumblings of the Jumpman taking a leap into the beautiful game came earlier this year with the emergence of a collaboration alongside Brazil’s national team. The Tiempo Streetgato Phantom is a welcomed surprise addition to the roster, and it seems hype is already brewing.

The Nike Streetgato is one of the Swoosh's flagship indoor boots, and is made for street football – hence the name. Jordan brand’s version goes for a slightly more lifestyle feel with premium suede adorning most of the upper. An ode to the Air Jordan 3 can be seen across the panels in the form of signature elephant print. Completing the design is the foldable tongue and classic Jumpman branding details.

Currently, the Jordan Tiempo Streetgato Phantom is expected to arrive on March 13 – but there’s been no official announcement as of yet.
