The Labrum x adidas Adizero Evo SL Fuses Culture and Speed
Founded in London with a mission to fuse West African heritage and modern sportswear, has always celebrated movement as a form of identity and self-expression. Since last year’s Superstar colab with adidas, the label have continued to explore the axis of culture and performance, which is now bought to life with a new Adizero Evo SL.
Previewed during Labrum’s recent London Fashion Week show, the Evo SL balances a light build with responsive cushioning, making it ideal for training blocks and marathon prep. Coming in 'Sesame/White' and 'Dark Blue/Lucid Red', ancestry-inspired prints – from cowrie shells to terracotta brick motifs – offer heritage and personality to the silhouette, with the brand choosing wherever possible to upcycle any excess inventory or materials for their next collection.
Rounding out the capsule are ultra light running jackets, shorts, singlets, and women’s crop tops, paired with accessories like compression sleeves – letting runners chase their PBs while flexing their personal style.
Speaking on the linkup, Labrum founder and creative director Foday Dumbuya says: 'This collaboration is for the runners who carry culture on their backs, stories in their steps, and freedom in their stride. It celebrates the idea that you can begin anywhere, and that every destination is yours to claim.
'For the ones who see the road as a borderless space, a place where identity and possibility meet. I hope this collection goes beyond running - connecting people to their own journeys and reminding them that movement itself can be a powerful form of expression.'
You can cop the Labrum x adidas SS26 collection – including the Adizero Evo SL – now from both brand's webstores, the CONFIRMED app and select retailers.
