LTTT Go Full Ping-Pong Performance on ASICS GEL-RESOLUTION 5
Before Marty Supreme bolstered the popularity of table tennis across the globe, Little Tokyo Table Tennis (LTTT) were beasting in the underground with their ping-pong swag. LTTT initially started as a grassroots community table tennis meet-up at the Terasaki Budokan recreation centre in Downtown LA, but have fast become a worldwide movement thanks to their bangin’ in-house merch releases and bevy of colabs. Now building on their hit ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1, LTTT have prepared a two-stack of the GEL-RESOLUTION 5s.
The Los Angeles-based imprint’s latest linkup was unveiled in style at a Paris Fashion Week pop-up. Two colorways were crafted, boasting mismatched detailing and plenty of branding hits across the entire design. The neon green iteration is kitted in a knit mesh as the base layer, with mostly translucent overlay panels and a white midsole. The white pair opts for red and green accenting, with a black midsole that pays homage to LTTT’s gym. LTTT have added polyurethane throughout each design to represent their fascination with life’s many layers, alongside a premium sockliner and hand-drawn graphics featured on the insole.
The Little Tokyo Table Tennis x ASICS GEL-RESOLUTION 5 will release through both brands’ web channels and via select stockists on July 25.
