Melitta Baumeister Brings High Fashion to the Vomero Premium

For the ones who aim to scorch their PR every time they go out for a run, this pair is for you. Nike have partnered up with avant-garde designer Melitta Baumeister for a fiery take on the Vomero Premium.

Baumeister’s self-named fashion design brand earned her Cooper Hewitt’s National Design Award earlier this year, which honoured the futuristic, minimalist aesthetic of her clothing. She brings that same style to her Nike Sportswear capsule collection titled ‘Run Like No One Is Watching’, which was first revealed in October at a private launch performance. At that very event, Baumeister teased her first sneaker colab with the Swoosh on their latest ultra-stacked running silhouette – which we now have a close-up look at, courtesy of industry veteran Frank Cooke.

Flaming orange features on the upper and midsole with black distressed details throughout, giving this pair the appearance they got too close to the sun. 'Melitta Baumeister New York City' branding is featured atop the black Swoosh and big 'AIR' lettering, while a tan sockliner breaks up the vibrancy. Hidden underfoot are a pair of printed eyes within the forefoot and heel windows of the outsole, to tie back into the collection's title.

The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Vomero Premium doesn’t have a set release date at the moment, but given the recent teasers, we expect it will launch some time in Q1 of 2026. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for all updates.
