New Balance Have Just Launched Their 1080v15
It’s a big month for New Balance because they’re one of the major sponsors for the Australian Open, and have taken the opportunity to debut the latest version of their reliable 1080 running series. Titled simply the 1080v15, this pair arrives over a year after the v14 touched down on shelves, and boasts a radically different build.
The New Balance 1080v15 is the perfect pair for everyday runners, flexing an all-new cushioning technology and complete design overhaul. Starting from the bottom, the midsole is crafted using a new technology dubbed Infinion, which promotes long-lasting performance. Where other foams wear out after multiple long runs, Infinion is designed to last longer and make ‘more runs feel like your first’. The new foam also boosts energy return and maximum cushioning, adding credentials to the 1080v15 as a daily driver. In terms of design, the upper is now constructed using a contoured, perforated mesh, and a two-tone stack midsole beneath.
