One of 2026’s major players has been Nike ACG, whose return-to-roots rebrand has birthed an abundance of innovative footwear and apparel. So far, the ACG Ultrafly Trail 2 has led the charge, followed by the ACG Pegasus Trail, which dropped in April alongside the Peg 42. July then saw the launch of the technically tuned Zegama Boot, geared toward hiking. Next year, it seems the Nike sub-label may be going even harder, with the Picklejus already slated to land. But there’s more than just pickle juice squeezing outta ACG – fresh leaks have emerged stating the Juniper Trail will arrive next year.

Nike’s Juniper Trail franchise – a lightweight speedster designed for easy trail and transitional terrain runs – is currently up to its third iteration. However, the 2027 ACG Juniper Trail will mark its first time under the All Conditions Gear banner, and it’ll reportedly land with some sizeable upgrades. There are currently no exact tech specs surrounding the pair, but imagery has emerged via @acgtaiwan , along with some surface-level info from @vladieboi. The most interesting part of the reportage says Nike will be using GOATEK on the outsole, a new material which was announced alongside the Picklejus last month. Nike ACG’s GOATEK outsole tech is credited with delivering unparalleled grip, with the brand alleging a 45 per cent increase in wet traction, with 25 per cent greater resistance compared to their other trail-terrain outsoles. Another point of discussion is the price, which sits at the very affordable $110 mark. This is a positive sign for beginners, as many trail-geared runners pass the $250 mark due to their sheer amount of tech.

The ACG Juniper Trail is yet to be officially announced by Nike, but expect the colourway pictured above to be the launch iteration, hitting shelves mid-2027.
