Big Bubble, Big Swing! Nike's Air Max 95 Goes Golf
No need for a mulligan! Nike are expanding their golf lineup once again, this time bringing one of their most storied silhouettes to the fairway.
Having already reworked the Air Max 1, 90 and Plus, the brand's latest play looks to the Air Max 95 – a silhouette that’s been front and centre this year thanks to its 30th anniversary and ongoing Big Bubble revival.
This tee-time iteration switches out the model's streetwise construction for a sleek upper and lightweight mesh tongue, and incorporates the sculpted midsole from the 2015 AM95 Ultra. A spikeless outsole also looks to improve traction without reducing versatility – a move that fits squarely into 2025's run of golf and lifestyle crossovers.
Meanwhile, various hits of 'Peony' and 'Dusty Cactus' on the overlays add a breezy, Miami-style finish to the model, grounded by 'Anthracite' and white tones.
Let’s not forget – the Beaverton linksmen are not the only ones entering the swing scene. Jordan Brand's Air Rev, New Balance’s 997G, and adidas’ Gazelle have all played the green from heritage classic to fairway-ready in the last few years alone.
