The Nike Alphafly 3 Looks Loud in ‘Crimson Blast’
Nike’s Alphafly 3 is one of the most successful running shoes on the market right now, and when your shoe has that many accolades behind it, you’re allowed to drop it in a few loud colourways. The Swoosh’s super shoe has broken multiple running records, including the women’s marathon record at the 2024 Chicago marathon and is endorsed by some of the world’s most successful runners, like sub-2-hour marvel Eliud Kipchoge. Now, following on from the previous ‘Volt’, ‘Safari’ and Kipchoge-inspired colourways, it arrives in an undeniably vibrant ‘Crimson Blast’.
Dressed up in energetic red, yellow and flashes of lime green, the ‘Crimson Blast’ ZoomX Alphafly 3 looks to take inspiration from a popular Alphafly Next% 2 colourway – one you might have seen on a few run club meme pages. But this isn’t a case of all beauty and no brains, as the engines underneath are geared to deliver the very best in performance. The Alphafly 3 features a full-length carbon plate, a legal stack height sole crafted from ZoomX foam, and a double dose of Air Zoom units – all designed to propel you through those marathon miles.
While multiple colourways are already available to cop, the ‘Crimson Blast' Alphafly 3 features a subtle ‘2025-03’ timestamp on the sole unit, so there’s a high chance they won’t touch down until early next year. That is a few weeks out from any major marathons, so stay tuned to see if they’re planning something special over at Nike Running.
