Devin Booker’s Book 2 Is Finally Coming Through
The wait is over, fam. Nike have finally re-teamed with Devin Booker, and it’s about to get real. After months of teasing, the Suns star is back with his next signature chapter – a collection that blends his court style, Phoenix roots, and an up-to-date twist on classic b-ball.
The Book 2 continues Booker’s partnership with Nike designers, blending performance innovation with a modern-classic aesthetic. The low profile silhouette draws inspiration from skateboarding, vintage cars and classic Swoosh sportswear. 'A big thing for me was feeling the court and being a bit lower to the ground,' Booker said in a statement. 'I wanted to pay homage to Phoenix by starting with orange and black for the Phoenix and Rising colourways, giving fans something to rock at each game.'
As part of the launch, the model features a forefoot Air Zoom unit, Cushlon 3.0 midsole and plush foam sock liner for a responsive, cushioned ride. The outsole, which takes notes from the Air Force 1, includes a sun-dappled herringbone traction pattern, cactus-inspired details and hand-drawn asterisks by Booker himself.
'For the Book 1, we were inspired by classic cars, where the engine is supercharged and tuned up but the outside looks classic,' adds Ben Nethongkome, lead designer for Devin's footwear. 'That approach cascaded to the Book 2, cloaking the innovation underneath. We lowered the profile of the shoe for enhanced court feel, and because we removed materials to get lower to the ground, we were able to move the Air Zoom unit from the heel to the forefoot – achieving Devin's desired feel and performance at a lighter weight.'
Complementing the release, the Book 2 apparel collection features eight pieces with sun-faded finishes, premium fabrics and classic basketball cuts. There's long-sleeve tees, a raw-edged cutoff shirt, woven jackets, game pants and brushed hoodies, designed for on-court performance and street-ready style.
The Nike Book 2 is slated to hit shelves early 2026 at Nike and select retailers.
