With the way Ja Morant claws through defenders, it’s no wonder the Jurassic Park franchise was tapped for this partnership –and the prehistoric vibes are in full effect on the latest edition of the Nike Ja 3.
Originally released in 1993, Jurassic Park tells the story of a billionaire’s dinosaur theme park that goes haywire once the ferocious beasts escape. Morant can’t be held back on the court either, and that fierce energy is captured perfectly in this new colourway. The upper features the same blend of black, red, and yellow found on the logo for the giant-lizard-riddled island. Grizzly-bear slashes throughout the silhouette can be reimagined as the marks of a creature that paleontologist Alan Grant is yet to discover. The park's T-Rex-fossil emblem appears on the tongue, and the graphic insoles feature two velociraptors on the hunt for prey.
Ankles will surely go extinct once the star point guard breaks these out on the hardwood. This pair arrives on the heels of two other recently revealed colourways that pay tribute to the early morning grind and the Chinese zodiac calendar – gearing up the signature shoe for some highly anticipated drops in 2026.
No release date has been locked in as of yet, but the Nike Ja 3 ‘Jurassic Park’ is slated to drop some time in April. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for all the carnivorous updates.
