It’s safe to say that the Ja 3 has been a bank shot of success for both Ja Morant and Nike’s basketball division – with a major portion of the league sporting the silhouette on the hardwood. As they prepare to roll out the Ja 4 later this year, Morant took to his Instagram to break out the last few colourways of his third signature shoe from the vault, known as the ‘Team Bank’ collection.
While many of the Ja 3 releases have combined vibrant tones – like the wall-busting Kool-Aid colab and the raptor-slashed Jurassic Park project – this latest series opts for a calmer white base joined by a contrasting shade on each iteration. From what’s been revealed, it appears the pack will consist of five different pairs with an accent colour on each – royal blue, red, grey, ‘Pine Green’, and orange. Each version is completed with a metallic silver Swoosh – forming a collection that is easy to coordinate with a variety of school and professional uniforms.
This finale to the Ja 3 serves as a graceful way for the model to bow out, as opposed to exiting with the bang indicative of Morant’s explosive playing style. If you were hoping for more colour, then have no fear – the Ja 4 has already been revealed to be sporting a bevy of loud options in store.
