Ja Morant flying towards the rim? Talk about a real jump scare! As the spookiest day of the year draws near, official images of the Nike Ja 4 High reveal that the silhouette is actually part of the Swoosh’s Halloween 2026 lineup. After taking another look at the spiked ‘University Red’ upper, it does actually look pretty beastly, and the zombified graphic of Morant on the insole confirms its connection to the eerie low-top iteration.
The Ja 4 High is set to launch on October 31 via Nike and select retailers for a price of $180. Take a peek at the additional shots below, and mark your calendar to treat yourself to this pair.
Ja Morant’s signature line has become one of Nike Basketball’s biggest franchises, with the Ja 3 building plenty of hype thanks to a budding catalogue of colourways. The Ja 4 has experienced just as much excitement as its predecessor, but is still in its infancy – only a handful of pairs have touched down so far. But there is one thing that Morant’s fourth signature has a leg-up on compared to the previous silhouette: The Ja 4 will arrive in a High version.
You may remember that when the Ja 4 originally leaked way back in March, the High variation was added to the convo as a rumour. Turns out it was dead-on, because last week Morant shared the iteration via his Instagram. While we don’t have any official build details about the Ja 4 High, we can clearly see it features a large shroud wrapping the entire foot – similar to ‘The Glove’. The debut colourway seems to be this neck-cranking full-red, and spikes adorning the outside which remind us of ostrich leather – hope they won’t poke Ja’s fellow players!
‘Colourways have always been big for me,’ Ja said after he debuted his latest signature. ‘I don’t like playing it safe – I want my shoes to stand out, just like my game. Every pair gotta have some energy to it, something that makes you feel different when you put it on. I pull inspiration from everything: my life, my mood, my family. And yeah, I’ve been hearing people call me the “Colourway King,” so I take that serious. I’m gonna keep making sure every drop hits like that.’
There’s no exact date for the Nike Ja 4 High yet, but a release window is alleged for the 2026 Holiday season.
