Nike have officially revealed the LeBron 23, the King’s latest signature, with 23 colourways planned to commemorate pivotal moments in his career. Leading the October releases is the 'Miami Twice' edition, a nod to LeBron’s back-to-back championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.
Teal sets the tone on the model's upper, embroidered with palm trees that pay homage to South Beach. The Crown Containment System features a pearlised iridescent finish, complemented by a jewelled reverse-Swoosh and a semi-translucent pink outsole etched with the number 23. Neon yellow and orange tongues paired with LeBron’s gold foil signature complete the narrative detailing.
Beyond aesthetics, the LeBron 23 packs all the latest performance tech. It introduces a full ZoomX drop-in midsole, a carbon-fibre shank for torsional support, and a lightweight, engineered upper for breathability and comfort.
Whether or not basketball was part of your world in 2012, LeBron’s move to Miami left its mark. By year two, the kid from Akron was hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy – and did it again the next season, claiming back-to-back Finals MVPs along the way.
Expect the Nike LeBron 23 'Miami Twice' to drop on October 9 at Nike Basketball retailers.
