Nike's ST Charge 'College Grey' is Made for the Concrete Stage
Cade Cunningham’s Nike ST Charge has officially dropped – and Team Swoosh are wasting no time in rolling out the next version of the silhouette, with another colourway already on the way!
Forming part of Nike’s Asia-exclusive rollout, if you’re only just lacing up on this release then here’s what you need to know: the silhouette first previewed at this year’s All-Star Weekend comes as part of the Beaverton crew’s Street Tough (‘ST’) series – a line built around outdoor-ready performance styles designed for heavy court use.
Made with a focus on durability and control, the design comes with a secure upper that wraps the foot with added stability, while a lightweight frame keeps movement fast and reactive. Energy return comes through forefoot Air Zoom paired with a Cushlon 3.0 drop-in midsole and the grip is handled by a rubber outsole, designed to bite into concrete and maintain control through quick changes of direction.
Arriving in a ‘College Grey’ finish, this upcoming ST Charge is crafted with a mesh base reinforced by a TPU overlay for extra structure. Brown hits land on both the tongue and heel tab, while the inner lining mixes things up with a ‘Bright Crimson’ pop for contrast. ‘Metallic Gold’ accents run across the Swoosh and upper eyelets, lifting the overall look. Underfoot, a misted, semi-clear outsole reveals a peek at the tech inside.
The Nike ST Charge ‘College Grey’ is expected to drop later this year – keep it locked to SF for more updates.
