Nike's Vomero Premium Debuts in a Sleek Monochrome Look
Nike's Vomero Premium has enjoyed the attention of high-performing athletes since its launch last year – in particular, middle-distance Olympian Faith Kipyegon, who praised the silhouette as a key component of her historic sub-4-minute mile attempt. 'It’s so soft, cushioned, and comfortable,' she's said. 'It helps me train harder with less impact so I can recover faster and stay focused on my goal.'
It's the type of comfort that comes from a seriously advanced set-up: a massive ZoomX foam stack combined with large, exposed Air Zoom units in the heel and forefoot to provide soft, responsive cushioning that lets runners push harder while minimising impact. At the same time, the Vomero’s clean and streamlined design makes it just as wearable off the track, proving the harmony of its performance chops and lifestyle-ready aesthetic.
Now, Nike are taking the silhouette down a new path with a release that builds on the model’s inaugural 'Volt', 'Total Orange', and 'Hyper Crimson' colourways, offering a look that works just as well for logging miles as it does for a post-run brewery stop.
This latest all-black men’s pair joins the Melitta Baumeister colab alongside the 'Realtree' and 'Chalk' iterations. Tiny chrome mini-Swooshes and a clean, stripped-back design – no Uptempo 'AIR' branding here – keep it low-key but still sharp. Tech-wise, it’s a max-cushion monster: peep that ZoomX foam stacked high with the Air Zoom units in heel and forefoot.
