Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton officially stepped into signature territory during Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals, debuting the PUMA Hali 1 on the league’s biggest stage. While Haliburton himself has been sidelined for much of the season, the Big Cat's basketball division has kept momentum high, rolling out one of the more creative and consistent signature campaigns of late.
Launched last year, the Hali 1 has regularly leaned into a playful grocery store theme, helping PUMA and Haliburton connect with 'heads beyond the hardwood. The model has also flexed its own personality across the league, with the likes of Reggie Miller and Stephen Curry spotted wearing the silhouette. So far, two colourways have released, with a third arriving later this month – the 'Smoke' edition.
Designed by Salehe Bembury, the Hali 1 blends futuristic visuals with on-court performance. The silhouette mirrors Haliburton’s style of play through sculpted lines and smooth transitions across the upper. PUMA's branding sits alongside Haliburton’s signature logo on the tongue, while textured detailing nods to Bembury’s distinctive design language.
Underfoot, performance stays front and centre. The Hali 1 comes with NITROFOAM, PUMA’s nitrogen-infused cushioning designed to deliver lightweight responsiveness. A TPU midfoot shank adds stability, while a high-abrasion PUMAGRIP outsole provides reliable traction.
The Hali 1 'Smoke' drops globally on January 30 through the PUMA webstore and app, as well as PUMA Flagship stores in New York City and Las Vegas, and select retail partners.
