LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.05 Lo Drops In ‘Flourish'

NBA star LaMelo Ball is firmly in his current wave right now – producing highlight nights on court while his PUMA signature line continues to build real momentum off it. Rounding out a tight, back-and-forth night in Miami, the point guard delivered the decisive game-winning lay-up as the Hornets edged past the Heat in a physical, momentum-swinging contest – while offering a first look at his latest release in the process.

Indeed, it was a slime green take on the MB.05 Lo – a colourway that is feeling like part of a much bigger story launching in real time. In case you missed it, the shortened ‘Lo’ version of Melo’s signature has been building its own ID this season, first previewed in a stripped-back form during All-Star weekend before easing into its more expressive rollout with pairs like this.

Compared to earlier low-cut adaptations in the MB series – which leaned into simplification – this latest edition comes graced with a distinctive design style. The upper is reworked with layered 3D textures that carry a tattoo-like aesthetic, adding depth and flavour under arena lighting. An extra-large lace shroud further reshapes the silhouette, giving the model a wrapped appearance, while reinforced forefoot deets brings extra containment and purpose.

Arriving off the back of LaMelo’s Miami matchup, the PUMA MB.05 Lo ‘Flourish’ lands May 15 in adult and grade school sizing, with the GS pair set at $120.
