Saucony’s Triumph 24 Debuts With Enhanced Comfort Tech
With roots stretching back to 1898, Saucony are continuing to prove why they’re one of the most trusted names in running – especially when it comes to their flagship Triumph line, which is now entering its next evolution with the Triumph 24.
The all-new model debuts in two colourways, however it’s the brand’s incrediLUX foam that really takes the lead on this release. Made with A-TPU, a chemically engineered compound used in premium sports shoes, this refreshed underfoot setup provides elevated softness. The move results in an 11 per cent increase in impact absorption – while also becoming lighter in the process, making it ideal for runners who prioritise comfort and easy shakeouts.
The design itself keeps things fairly simple, with a rebuilt upper that combines breathable mesh with a padded ankle collar and tongue, designed to keep the foot comfortably locked in place over longer distances. Finally, an XT-900 carbon rubber outsole delivers improved traction across a range of road surfaces.
‘The Triumph has always been our benchmark for premium neutral cushioning, and incrediLUX allowed us to raise that standard,’ says Brian Moore, Saucony’s chief product officer. ‘The new A-TPU foam provides even more comfort and shock absorption in an even lighter package, giving people a more effortless, luxurious experience over long runs and daily training alike.’
