Stone Island and New Balance are Dropping Another Football Colab
By far, New Balance’s most creative collaborations have come with Stone Island. Kicking off in 2021, this linkup has demonstrated both brands' strengths, fusing Stone Island's future-forward innovation with New Balance's classic craftsmanship. This year especially, the dynamic duo have doubled down on their output, dropping a mega 998, a skate-geared Numeric 272 and a full ‘Ghost’ 574. Now, Stoney x NB are hitting the football pitch again, dropping a collection that highlights the Furon v8 boot.
The New Balance Furon v8 is the latest variation of the Boston brand’s flagship football boot that released earlier in 2025, coming two years after the Furon v7 (which also saw a Stoney rework). This collaborative pair has been doused in a brown scheme, with subtle, medial 'Stone Island' compass branding and a ripstop pattern which echoes the 2023 collaboration. Asymmetric lacing allows for an uninterrupted strike zone, alongside Speed Ctrl Studs to bolster pivots and traction. Elsewhere, the upper is constructed with Hypoknit bonded to a polyurethane film.
