Slithering Onto the Pitch: Wales Bonner Tackles the adidas Predator

The saying about snakes in the grass must be true, because you’ll need to watch out for these on the pitch. After first being spotted on Myles Lewis-Skelly during training, the Wales Bonner x adidas Predator Elite FT FG has been unveiled in all its reptilian glory.

While Grace Wales Bonner has had her fair share of collaborations on indoor football turned lifestyle silhouettes, this marks her first time working on a performance boot. In true Wales Bonner fashion, she brings a luxurious edge to the silhouette by kitting out the entire upper in multiple shades of brown snakeskin. The typical fold-over tongue is finished in a premium, exposed-stitch brown leather, with embossed WB and Three Stripes branding.

Those same logos are seen on the heels, with additional Wales Bonner branding landing on the insoles and bands that hold the tongue in place. Completing the design with a stark contrast, are the chromed out wavy Three Stripes on the lateral side, to match the spiked outsole underfoot.

With the World Cup quickly approaching, every brand seems to be pulling out all the stops in celebration of ‘The Beautiful Game’. Another out of the ordinary boot colab comes via Travis Scott’s Nike Phantom 6, bringing his trademark backwards Swoosh to the pitch-equipped footwear.

No release details have been confirmed as of yet, but you can expect the Wales Bonner x adidas Predator Elite FT FG to drop just in time for ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for all updates.
