Air Jordan 4

With his reputation enhanced thanks to the Air Jordan 3's stellar success, Tinker Hatfield continued to push boundaries. The addition of rubber sidewall netting and ankle-wrapping ‘wings’ gave the Air Jordan 4 a progressive, teched-out profile. Performance credentials aside, Tinker’s visual medley once again blew away the competition. The AJ4 starred in dozens of big game performances, but the most memorable moment came in Spike Lee’s film Do The Right Thing, when Buggin’ Out (played by Giancarlo Esposito) confronts a Celtics fan who steps on his new ‘Cement’ Air Jordan 4s. In more recent times, collaborations with Undefeated, Levi’s and KAWS have produced some of the rarest and most desirable Jordans of all time.
