Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara is easily one of the most storied collaborators in sneaker history, with his touch becoming somewhat of a cheat code when it comes to producing certified heat. Alongside some legendary Jordan colabs, Fragment have previously worked with the Swoosh on colabs with sacai and Travis Scott, and after helping welcome back the Spiridon this year, Fujiwara now has his sights set on the world of performance shoes. The designer has sneakily revealed his take on a Fragment Design x Nike Book 1, and although there’s no confirmation of whether it’ll be officially released, it's worth a closer look at them.

The resulting Fragment x Book 1 was teased on both Fujiwara and Devin Booker’s Instagram accounts, with Fujiwara providing a closer look at the pair. A snakeskin upper calls back to the ‘Python’ Book 1, while Fragment’s signature blue hue sweeps across the sidewalls in Swoosh form. The brand’s double lightning bolt logo hits the black heel counters, and an inscription on the shoe’s midsole reads RSKB98765NIKE65432BOOK/HIROSHI FRAGMENT.

The latter detail suggests that this could be an early sample, but given that the roll-out looks to be in early stages, it may be a while before we know more. In the meantime, stay locked for the details!
