Ganni’s Opulent Touch Reaches the New Balance Fresh Foam Trainer
Performance collaborations with lifestyle brands and personalities have become increasingly popular in recent years thanks to the global running boom. Every brand has cashed in, but none have done better than New Balance, who’ve tapped the likes of Paperboy and Action Bronson to reimagine their peak performance tech. Next up is opulent Danish brand GANNI, who’ve crafted two opulent takes of the Fresh Foam Trainer.

Our take on the Fresh Foam Trainers captures a spirit of freedom, individuality, and joy—a lifestyle sneaker that’s perfect for everyday wear. We’ve brought that sense of playfulness into the campaign, and I can’t wait to see how people make it their own.’
GANNI’s take on the Fresh Foam Trainer exudes subtle trail vibes, with welded panelling, a mesh base layer and dual rear pull-tabs. Two colourways have emerged, with the first coming in a grey and pink that hosts metallic silver touches. The second iteration goes in the other direction, rocking different colour-blocking in a crisp black and red. Rounding out both of these iterations is the co-branded midsole and lace jewel.
Sitting alongside the two Fresh Foam Trainers is a pink and grey iteration of the New Balance WRPD. Imagery of this third part of the collaborative endeavour is above and will launch at the same time as the other two. However, the WRPD edition will only land exclusively in China.
The GANNI x New Balance Fresh Foam Trainers will be available on November 20 through the brand’s webstore, select brick-and-mortars and their stockists. They’ll also land via the usual NB launch channels at $170.
