Jayson Tatum and Jordan Brand Officially Reveal the Jordan Tatum 3

After putting the signature shoe through its paces at the Paris Games, Jayson Tatum and Jordan Brand have officially revealed the Jordan Tatum 3. The Jordan athlete has been on quite the run this summer, and he’s set to continue the new season in style, as the initial launch is even lined up to get an exclusive drop at CNCPTS.

While the Tatum 2 only released back in March, the line’s third shoe ups the ante even further, delivering Cushlon 3.0 foam and a forefoot Zoom Air unit, all while remaining the lightest shoe on the Jordan Brand’s basketball roster. The idea was for the shoe to feel as if it’d been broken in as soon as it was taken out of the box, and the boffins at Beaverton’s Sports Research Lab have been hard at work developing an all-new upper inspired by athlete movement, and informed by needs of flexibility and support. Simply put, it’s designed to adapt to the foot without restrictions or pressure.

Speaking on the new signature sneak, Taytum said; ‘I don’t take having a signature shoe for granted. I’m grateful to be in a position where I can co-create with Jordan Brand and have fans connect with me through my shoe. My favourite part of the 3s is the way they take on colour, so my hope is that we inspire and energise a lot of people through the colourway storytelling.’

The first colourway to drop will be the ‘Welcome to the Garden’ iteration, a black, green and floral colourway designed to reflect growth in all areas of the Ball player’s life. An additional exclusive version will be available as part of a two-shoe pack at CNCPTS Boston on October 5, where it’ll come packaged up with a matching Air Jordan 1 Low.
