Nike Are Dropping 55 ‘Safari’ Models For the Olympics
If you thought you’d seen a lot of ‘Safari’ print from Nike ahead of the Paris Games this week, then buckle up, because there’s more on the way. The Swoosh has just revealed a 55-pair-strong collection that pays homage to the Tinker Hatfield-engineered colourway. Spanning a selection of their lifestyle and performance silhouettes, it’s set to drop alongside the Olympics Opening Ceremony day on July 26.
The huge collection has also been dubbed the , and you’ll probably recognise a few of the pairs that have already leaked. Included in the mix is the previously seen ‘Safari’ Air Max Dn, SB Dunk, the new skate-ready PS8 silhouette, and the Air Safari from 1987. As well as a number of lifestyle silhouettes, the colour theme also wraps itself around some of the Swoosh’s sports-specific silhouettes, kitting out the buzzy Alphafly 3, Nike Pegasus, GT basketball styles and Mercurial football silhouettes. All in all, the collection spans 32 sports.
Nike only dropped its other Olympic-inspired ‘Blueprint’ pack very recently, but those with a sharp eye will have noticed pretty much all of Nike’s IG icons have swapped to reflect the launch – the Swoosh are going hard on this one. The full version of Nike’s ‘Electric Pack’ will land on Friday, but some styles are available to shop over at Nike. Hit the link below to shop for your sport.
