The Internet has been graced with some slick on-foot shots of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Japan’ due to retro later this year. This silver surfer originally was only obtainable in Japan, but signs are pointing to a wider release this time around.

Some subtle updates have been made to distinguish this retro from the 2001 OG, notably on the tongue that displays Nike Air embroidery instead of the Jumpman logo. Otherwise, it’s a faithful reproduction of the connoisseur’s AJ1, right down to the lustrous silver grainy leather and tactile nubuck upper.

Lock in July 25 for the release at selected Nike retailers.
