Getting the chance to set foot on an NCAA court at any university has its perks, but those perks are especially sweet when the court is at the University of North Carolina. Recently revealed to the men’s basketball team after one of their practices, each of the players were gifted a pair of the Air Jordan 10 UNC PE.

Michael Jordan’s ties to his alma mater have inspired many UNC-themed Jordan releases for the public, but the Tar Heels get the best of the best. The upper is split between a grey full-grain leather base and panels of Carolina-blue suede to match the team’s away uniforms. Black leather is featured on the eyestay and around the ankle to coordinate with the black midsole and outsole, which also has additional hits of the university’s shade of blue. The Tar Heels’ two-toned foot logo is stitched onto the lateral side of the collar, while an oversized, embroidered Jumpman logo appears on the medial side.

This UNC PE follows the quacking Air Jordan 10 exclusive just shared by the University of Oregon last week, and as we typically see the top Jordan Brand-sponsored schools all getting their own versions of the same silhouette... who knows what colourway these might pop up in next?

While this pair is expected to remain exclusive to the basketball team, in the past we have seen some hit the streets minus the university logo – like the Air Jordan 3 release in 2020. Stay tapped in with Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
