Jaws on the Floor: Mercedes F1 Debut adidas Y-3 Collection
This week in Formula 1, the contentious new regulations aren’t the only major talking point – so is the brand new collection between Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and adidas Y-3!
Fresh off of Kimi Antonelli’s mega (and very emotional) maiden win at the Chinese Grand Prix, George Russell’s victory in Australia, general , and all-round domination, Mercedes are keeping the hype train rolling. This collaborative collection alongside Yohji Yamamoto’s adidas sub-line uses a wolf graphic at the centre, pulled straight from the 2006 ‘Beast’ Pack. adidas announced that they were planning on bringing back this legendary multi-shoe collection last year – and now it's confirmed that some of it will be with Mercedes.
A range of apparel will be dropping for the Mercedes x Y-3 collection, including tracksuits, jackets and sweaters alongside the usual team-wear. You can expect Russell, Toto and Kimi to be rocking the entire kit come the Japanese Grand Prix.
Ahead of the on-track debut, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team x adidas Y-3 will drop through the usual Trefoil channels on March 19.
Before adidas dipped their toes in, PUMA were the brand that dominated Formula 1 – learn about why right here.
