Devin Booker’s second signature sneaker with Nike continues to build out a deep roster of colourways, but the latest Player Exclusive taps straight into college hoops prestige. The newly surfaced Nike Book 2 ‘USC’ PE pays tribute to the University of Southern California with a bold palette pulled straight from the Trojans’ iconic team colours.

Drenched in a rich ‘Cardinal Red’ upper, the pair leans into a classic basketball aesthetic that fits perfectly with Booker’s design philosophy – performance tech hidden beneath a timeless exterior. Golden yellow accents land across the Swoosh, branding and midsole details, creating that unmistakable USC visual identity while keeping the overall look sharp and court-ready.

Under the hood, the Book 2 continues the performance blueprint Nike built for Booker’s evolving game. The low-profile silhouette is designed to keep players close to the floor, delivering enhanced court feel without sacrificing comfort. A forefoot Air Zoom unit pairs with a Cushlon 3.0 midsole and foam sockliner, providing responsive cushioning while maintaining the lightweight ride Booker prefers for quick scoring bursts.

Traction also remains a key focus. The outsole features a sun-inspired herringbone pattern that nods to Booker’s Phoenix roots while offering dependable grip for sharp cuts and step-backs.

Like many PE editions, the ‘USC’ Book 2 is unlikely to see a full retail release. Still, the pair adds another chapter to Booker’s growing signature line – one that continues blending classic hoops DNA with personal storytelling.

For Trojans fans and Book collectors alike, this is pure campus heat.
