March Madness always brings a wave of Player Exclusives, and Nike are once again delivering heat for their university programs. The latest pair to surface is the Nike GT Future ‘Oregon Ducks’ PE – a futuristic performance model dressed in colours that honour one of Nike’s most famous collegiate partners.

The silhouette leans into a sleek metallic aesthetic. A shimmering ‘Metallic Pewter’ upper wraps the shoe in a sculpted shell-like finish, complete with subtle wing-style texturing that gives the design a sense of motion. Black accents appear on the tongue and lateral Swoosh, grounding the look while allowing the gleaming surface to do most of the jawing.

Oregon-specific branding confirms the connection. The Ducks’ iconic ‘O’ logo appears on the tongue in black, while bold yellow ‘Ducks’ lettering runs along the medial side of the shoe, tying the pair directly to the university’s unmistakable green-and-yellow identity.

There’s also speculation the PE could be linked to the ‘Ducks of a Feather’ initiative – a collaboration between Nike and a student-led apparel label at the University of Oregon. If that connection holds, the pair could eventually see a limited public release rather than remaining exclusive to athletes.

Nike haven’t confirmed official launch details just yet, but early rumours suggest a potential 2026 window. For now, the GT Future ‘Oregon Ducks’ PE stands as another reminder of the deep ties between Nike and the university widely considered the spiritual home of the Swoosh.
