Nike just lifted the curtain on a genuinely fresh chapter for their basketball ecosystem with the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu Watkins. The USC standout has become the first athlete ever to co-create a hoops shoe within the LeBron NXXT Gen platform, giving this release a historic weight well beyond a standard signature colourway.
The debut ‘Silver Lining’ palette – named to echo Watkins’ journey and the idea of finding positivity through adversity – refracts light across its surfaces, nodding both to her personal style and her Watts, Los Angeles roots. Additional upcoming colourways will continue to celebrate JuJu’s identity, including tributes to her hometown and her collegiate journey at USC.

A leather toe overlay extends into the lace collar, while a mix of synthetic mesh on the upper keeps the look modern and breathable. Underfoot, a full-length Cushlon foam bed backed by forefoot Zoom Air – wrapped in translucent rubber – promises responsive playability that aligns with both high-octane guard play and LeBron’s bulldozing style of basketball.
The pair JuJu helps introduce blends performance cues with style that courtside consumers will appreciate.
