Born in Motion: ballaholic and ASICS Reveal -STREETMOVE Vol.0-
Founded in Tokyo in 2010, ballaholic has grown from a grassroots streetball crew into one of Japan’s most influential basketball labels, operating at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture. What began as a community-led platform celebrating pick-up runs and underground tournaments has evolved into a design-forward brand spanning apparel, footwear, and immersive events. That deep connection to street-level basketball culture continues to define everything ballaholic touches.
Now, the label steps into a new phase of its partnership with ASICS through the UNPRE ARS LOW 3 -STREETMOVE Vol.0-. Marking the seventh collaboration between the two brands, this release moves beyond colourway-driven updates and into genuine co-creation, with both sides working together from the earliest stages of development to make structural adjustments and explore new material directions.
Across six previous collaborations, ASICS and ballaholic have built a consistent presence around ASICS’ core basketball performance silhouettes, including multiple projects on the UNPRE ARS series and the GLIDE NOVA FF line. Those releases have paired technical tooling with ballaholic’s restrained aesthetic, gradually pushing the partnership toward deeper involvement in construction and concept.
Built on the performance DNA of the UNPRE ARS LOW 3, the -STREETMOVE Vol.0- refines the silhouette with subtle yet meaningful tweaks, prioritising stability, responsiveness, and court feel for players who thrive on constant motion. It’s engineered to transition smoothly between organised competition and the raw, unpredictable energy of streetball.
Two colourways anchor the release: 'Black/Pure Silver' and 'Taupe/White'. The ASICS x ballaholic UNPRE ARS LOW 3 -STREETMOVE Vol.0- launches February 13 in Japan, February 21 via early access at ballaholic Hong Kong, and February 27 globally.
